You may be considering weight loss surgery if you are overweight or obese. For many people, surgical weight reduction is one of the only viable ways to lose a significant amount of weight and enjoy better health. However, it’s important to realize that this is a very serious undertaking. You should definitely spend time researching the topic and, if possible, talking with people who have already had a weight reduction procedure performed. Understanding the benefits and risks involved with weight loss surgery is absolutely vital to making an informed decision. To help you get started, here is a brief guide…

Benefits:

* Fast Weight Loss: Obviously this is the biggest benefit of weight loss surgery. Immediately following the surgery most people begin to lose weight quickly. This rapid weight loss usually continues for at least a year and a half, leading to a very significant reduction in body weight. It’s important to note however that many people begin to regain weight within 2 years, especially if they have not made any healthy lifestyle/diet changes!

* Improvement of Obesity-Related Health Conditions: For many people, the improvement in their overall health, following weight loss surgery, is just as important as the weight loss itself. And for good reason: people who have suffered from debilitating obesity-related conditions (such as diabetes) for years often experience tremendous improvements within a short period of time.

Risk and Side-Effects:

* Death: A small percentage of weight loss surgery patients die during the operation or from complications in the days and weeks following the surgery.

* Post-surgery complications: Some patients must have follow-up procedures to correct complications, which can include infections and hernias.

* Nutritional deficiencies: Some types of weight loss surgeries reduce the body’s ability to absorb important vitamins and minerals. Many patients must take diet supplements on a daily basis or risk developing anemia, osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease, etc.

* Gallstones: More than a third of gastric surgery patients develop gallstones due to the rapid weight loss that occurs in the months following a weight reduction procedure.

* Side-effects: Some of the most common side-effects experienced by weight loss surgery patients include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bloating, excessive sweating, increased gas, and dizziness.

As you can see, weight loss surgery carries some huge benefits along with some very significant risks. If you are severely obese, it is definitely an option for reducing your body weight and improving – or even eliminating – many of your obesity-related health conditions. Just understand the risk and be prepared to make some relatively extensive lifestyle changes after the procedure. If you are not severely obese you should definitely consider diet and exercise options before you think about weight loss surgery.

Here are some banana diet tips and a warning. First off, the banana diet CAN help you to lose a lot of weight. But some people don’t do it right and when you do it wrong, it gets UGLY. So read this now to get things straight so you can enjoy losing weight on this really effective diet.

1. Warning: The banana diet has nothing to do with eating bananas as your main meal.

You’d be crazy if you ate bananas as your meals. Uh, you need protein and fats as well for your diet. If you ate nothing but bananas, you’d so many nutrient, mineral, and vitamin deficiencies. Besides, this would be pure torture to eat only bananas.

I know you’re more intelligent than that, but I just wanted to be sure for those who get a little too aggressive with their dieting tactics.

2. Tips – There are 2 ways to do this diet and a combination way

You can eat 2 bananas, 3 separate times a day as snacks between meals. You can eat 2 bananas with your meals… 1 before and 1 after each meal (I don’t advise this way). OR… you can do a combo in which you eat 1 banana with each of 3 meals and 1 banana 3 different times as a snack.

If I was to choose, I’d either do the first or third way… probably the 3rd way. Why? First, you need to use bananas as snacks. By using them just at your meals, you’d be opening up some problems when it comes time to snack between meals. So it’s vital to use them as snacks.

Also, it’s important to have them with meals because the live enzymes bananas contain help you to digest your foods better. Good digestive health is critically important for long term weight loss progress.

If you’ve been struggling to lose weight for weeks, months, or even years, and have been unsuccessful until now, then it’s time you embraced a new approach. Turning to diet pills as a quick fix solution does not need to be the weak way out and does not need to be unhealthy. You can take diet pills in a healthy and safe manner, and become well on your way to weight loss and a life full of more energy.

Here’s how:

1. First, consult with your doctor, nutritionist, or online pharmacy medical consultant. These people can help you determine which pill is appropriate for you, and can help you set up a diet that is compatible with a diet pill regimen.

2. Don’t think long term. Diet pills are not intended for long term use. They provide a fantastic way for you to jumpstart your weight loss program by helping you achieve fast weight loss and by boosting your energy, so you receive the initial motivation you need to diet on your own, successfully, without pills.

3. Stick to your diet. Using diet pills does not mean that you can eat whatever you want (and however much you want) and lose weight magically because of the pills. Phentermine 37.5, for example, will help suppress your appetite, but if you don’t listen to those hunger signals and overeat each time, you won’t lose weight (and you’ll probably end up feeling sick).

4. Stick to your exercise plan. People who are obese or very overweight have lower energy levels and it can be hard to find self-motivation to work out. But the healthiest diets occur with physical activity, so please do try to exercise on a regular basis. You’ll be amazed at how much easier it becomes as you lose weight and have less of a load to carry around. Also, practice makes perfect!

5. Don’t give up! You can do it!
