Besides fun to drink while eating or relaxing, tea also has benefits for the body. One of them, tea is useful for improving the brain performance.
As quoted by the Daily Mail, there are studies that claim that drinking tea may improve brain performance. In that study, Dutch investigators find out any effect of the compounds in tea with mental readiness 44 respondents.
After investigation revealed, the content in tea such as amino acids or L-theanine (commonly found in green tea) and caffeine, can increase the ability to think. Those who drank tea, after 20 and 70 minute, its accuracy in performing different tasks for the better.
The study also mentioned that the tea drunk respondents aged under 40 years, can reduce fatigue. This study shows that in addition to improving the performance of the brain, tea may also increase alertness someone who diligently consume.
